安装前的五项核对
- 确认地址属于你认可的软件发布渠道，并使用 HTTPS 连接。
- 核对应用名称、发布者、版本、文件数字签名和系统安全提示。
- 不要从聊天群、网盘、短链接或陌生二维码取得所谓“内部版”“增强版”。
- 安装和注册过程中，不要把短信验证码、PIN 或恢复密钥交给任何人。
- 重装前先确认备份或迁移方案；安装完成后及时启用自动更新。
移动端系统要求
当前公开安装说明要求 Android 6.0 或更高版本；iPhone 与 iPad 需要 iOS 或 iPadOS 15 及以上。系统要求可能随应用版本变化，安装前应再次核对设备条件。

更新与权限

Signal for mobile
Begin private communication on Android, iPhone, or iPad. Confirm the operating system, publisher, and download source before installation, and plan backups or transfer before reinstalling or changing devices.
Signal for desktop
Continue conversations on Windows, macOS, or amd64 (x86_64) Linux. Desktop cannot register independently; first use requires a working Android or iPhone primary device for linking.
Five checks before installation
- Confirm the address belongs to a distribution channel you trust and uses HTTPS.
- Verify the application name, publisher, release, digital signature, and system warning.
- Avoid “internal” or “enhanced” editions shared through groups, file drives, short links, or unknown QR codes.
- Never give anyone an SMS verification code, PIN, or backup recovery key during setup.
- Plan backup or transfer before reinstalling, then enable timely updates after installation.
Mobile requirements
Current installation guidance lists Android 6.0 or later and iOS or iPadOS 15 or later. Requirements can change between releases and should be rechecked before installation.
Desktop requirements
Current support covers Windows 10/11 and macOS 13 or later. Linux support is for amd64 (x86_64) distributions. Debian-based systems can use the Debian package; other compatible distributions can follow the official AppImage instructions. Check architecture and distribution requirements before installing. After first launch, scan the linking QR code with the primary phone.
Updates and permissions
Camera, microphone, notification, contact, or file access should be enabled only for the feature being used. If calls, recording, or alerts fail, check system permissions, connectivity, and available storage first.
Download source disclosure
The Android button downloads an APK stored by this site. Windows and Mac open Signal's official download pages, Linux opens its official installation instructions, and iPhone / iPad opens Apple App Store. This independent guide is not Signal's software publisher. Check the publisher, file version, digital signature, and operating-system warning before installation.
